Although the company is most well known for its sleek, stylish, and expensive sports cars, Mercedes-Benz now has a line for truck drivers. Make that three lines. And they’re not even selling automobiles. Instead the company is now offering three lines of clothing and accessories specially designed for the life and attitude of the trucker.
According to the company’s blog, the clothing lines are “useful, practical, stylish, and comfortable.” Called a sensation by developers, the lines are designed for quality, comfort ability, and user-friendliness. Although Mercedes-Benz is certainly a name for quality when it comes to sports cars, understanding their clothing line quality will take some heavy sampling.
The first line, dubbed Safety and Technology, consists of nine clothing items that are made from tough fabrics and designed with reflective material so as to catch the attention of night drivers. In addition, many of these pieces of clothing are formatted for the winter months, being made from warmer fabrics, in addition to being able to slip over other clothing. A parka with a detachable hood, an outer jacket made from windbreaker material and designed with reflective fabric, the inner fleece jacket, zip-off pants loaded with pockets, and three designs of hats are among the items available in this line.
Unlike the first selection, Mercedes-Benz “Freedom and Emotion” line consists of garments made especially for the professional trucker. In fact, the whole line is more than just a new wardrobe. Fashioned for fashion and designed for life on the road, the line is fused with browns, blacks, and Trucker logos, consisting of pants, several types of shirts, and even a secure truckers’ wallet to keep personal belongings safe.
The third and final product line from Mercedes-Benz includes accessories designed to keep every trucker on the move. This “practicality and mobility” line consists of accessories to make life on the road with trucksand trailers, a little easier, products to make travel more enjoyable, and gifts for family and friends. Some of the more interesting items include two watches, one a 24-hour watch and the other a traditional compass. In the first watch, a die cast box and snapping band that will connect to your best help make the watch more road-savvy. Another interesting product in this line is the rechargeable flashlight with LED lights for illuminating even the darkest nights. A convertible key ring that attaches to the belt loop, lanyard, or used simply as a key ring is similarly practical.
